James Novak, CPA, brings more than 25 years in diverse tax, financial, and business consulting experience to his role as partner at Novak | Costello CPA Group, LLC. He has a wealth of practical business insight gained from serving clients in a multitude of business sectors including the real estate, construction, professional services, entertainment and manufacturing industries.
Jim addresses an extensive range of accounting and audit, tax, and business consulting matters, equipping his clients with critical financial information to help them make informed business decisions that protect their assets and preserve the well-being of their companies.
He has consulted with countless closely held businesses and family investment partnerships to improve processes, minimize taxes and increase profitability through corporate, partnership, trust and individual tax compliance; through the preparation of audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements; and through controllership and consulting services.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society.
